I have built a fortress for you and me, so we could stay
And we would pretend, that there is no one outside of our place
You promised me I am the one you prefer over all
Why am I sitting so blue in my castle alone?
I came here to give you all I had
But in the end we are no one, but the strangers
You promised me so much, that I forgot
That I am trying not to swim, but stay afloat
You promised me so much, that I forgot
That I have already reached the plateau.
This album is absolutely stellar and now one of my most listened to. It's nostalgic sounding and unlike music at the time for me, this provides me a bit of challenge and uniqueness that keep me coming back. I'm happy they've chosen their native language too as it brings extra authenticity to the sound. toastal
Takes me back to my high school classroom during the days of binging Inio Asano's old manga scanlations before anything was licensed. At that time, I was discovering many kinds of Asian shoegaze, but I've never heard anything like this. Makes me think of Pasteboard, Supecar, and Midnight Pingpong a bit, and it's funny bc the first two I listen have blue album covers too. Lu
